In some sort of cosmic intersection of experience and psychology, both Amy and I are very homesick today. While my work at Vonage is going very well, we miss the closeness of our friends and family in Colorado. For cathartic purposes, here is a small list of the things I am missing during this slice of consciousness:

  • Sunday morning breakfast with my moms
  • Trips to the Denver Zoo after work
  • Lunch at Little India

  • Strolling the 16th Street Mall during my lunch break
  • Knowing the names and faces of my neighbors (even if we weren’t close)
  • Watching my neighborhood change and improve (Whittier Neighborhood)
  • Weekly family events like birthdays
  • Easy to find weekend activities
  • Spending almost no time in a car
  • Clear, sunny skies
  • Affordable family activities ($400 for pool access for one summer?!?!?!)
  • My Denver friends
  • And mostly… just feeling like I’m home
