Bruce Lee believed that we endure the pains onset by the sins of our parents. So too, here you endure the glares caused by previous generation's ignorance and malice. There is no immediate solution. I believe that one should maintain the moral high ground. Keep right on smiling. Say "good day" every chance you get. If they live in anger... if they choose the Dark Side, then they bring pain upon themselves. Some of them, however, may, just may, actually see the light, smile back, and enjoy a better day for it.
